How to win the Dirty Dozen Calendar Contest!

Winning the Dirty Dozen Calendar contest is pretty straightforward. You have to have the most votes!

Obviously.

But how exactly can you succeed in the Dirty Dozen Calendar competition? We've provided some insights below!

Engage with your audience

You have to find a way to get in front of potential voters and make them want to click the link and vote for you.

Sharing the Facebook post or just a text post with the link doesn't generate much traffic. Everyone else does this, and your post gets lost in the social media feed. It's also very low effort and will result in less response.

Use your sponsors!

Your sponsors have social media feeds, websites, and e-mail lists. Many drivers have had their marketing partners join in on the fun!

Try different approaches!

The beauty of social media is that you can try various approaches to see what works. Don't be afraid to mix it up.

Make a plan

Spend a few minutes and think about what you want to do. See what other people are doing or have done in the past. Figure out a way to make that work for you and have a plan for every day and every round!

Keep in mind how the rounds work. If you're in a "transfer spot" don't waste your good content. It's all about planning accordingly.

Create Content

Don't be afraid to create your own content.

Give your voters something to watch. Make it serious, make it funny, make it memorable. This increases the likelihood they will engage and they will share.

Memes, satire videos, photoshopped images have all shown to play well.

Give something away!

Create a contest within the contest. Reward your voters for supporting you.

Some drivers have offered free t-shirts, sponsor gifts, pit passes, a free calendar, etc.

The possibilities are endless, and they don't have to be monetary! You could give away a weekend of being part of the pit crew or riding to the track in the hauler. GET CREATIVE!

Be consistent

Consistent messaging will always help. Keep your fans updated. Keep them informed. Don't post once and then post again when you are behind. THIS DOES NOT WORK
